UPCOMING EVENTS

The mission of the CSB/SJU Drama Club is to promote knowledge of theater practices through various activities, events, and performances for and by students. We seek to involve the entire CSB/SJU community in immersion and enjoyment of various forms of theatre art, used both as a vehicle for entertainment and as a vehicle for education.

Some activities, events, and performances of the club include:

• Hosting Hodgepodge, a night of random artistic talent, every semester.

• Organizing and implementing the spring semester’s 24-Hour Play Festival.

• Conducting and hosting workshops on various topics, including auditioning and script writing.

• Producing student-directed performances for the CSB/SJU community and the surrounding area.

• Attending and discussing theater performances.

• Regular meetings to discuss and plan upcoming events and to engage in theatrical-related activities, including exercises in improvisation, relaxation, movement, and voice as well as activities from other disciples with a theatrical twist.

• Regular performance of scenes and monologues for the CSB/SJU community.

Website Update

The CSB/SJU Drama Club's website is currently under construction. We hope to have the entire site up and running soon. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the new site and if you have any ideas to make it better.
