Frequently Asked Questions

Like, ...what is this?

What will becoming a member of the Nursing Club do for me?

Participating in Nursing Club will give you an avenue to voice your concerns as a student nurse and provide support when you need it. Being able to say you were a member or a leader, or member within the Nursing Club will show future employers that you are active, involved and capable of working as a team. You will make lifelong friends while accomplishing common goals that can only enrich your Nursing education CSB-SJU.

What do I have to give in return?

  1. Physically being at a meeting would be good. J
  2. Participating, or planning the various activities, service projects, and fundraising that Nursing Club offers.
  3. Anything else you are able! (We each have different skills, experiences, and talents to bring to the table!)

How often and how long are the meetings? Are you sure I don’t have to attend them all?

The meetings are once per month and last approximately one hour. The first half hour is for the committees to meet and the second half hour is for the chair people to meet. We would LOVE for you to attend each month, but we know that can be difficult if not impossible for some of you.
